Armidale Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from local performers that would like to showcase their talents at the LIVE AND LOCAL FESTIVAL – LOCALLY MADE AND PLAYED on 7 April and/or 14 April 2018.
This mini festival will be held in the Armidale CBD and mall on a Saturday between 4pm and 8pm over a number of venues including book shops, empty retail premises, local hotels/pubs, cafes and outdoor spaces. The event aims to connect performers, local business and audiences for an afternoon of live performances.
Local musicians will play concurrently and be located at venues within walking distance allowing audience members to stroll around the CBD and participate in a number of activities. The event will offer a variety of musical genres and venues from small acoustic spaces to band sized pubs and everything in between. The afternoon will culminate in a performance of local musicians, playing original music on locally crafted instruments.
Artists are invited to submit an EOI to be considered for inclusion in this event. Performers must live within a reasonable gigging distance of the Armidale Regional Council LGA. Successful performers/entertainers will be contacted via phone to confirm their availability.
