Workshop Two. This is a stand-alone workshop aimed at developing team leadership skills utilising Patrick Lencioni’s Five Dysfunctions of Teams (http://www.fivebehaviors.com/About.aspx ) as a framework for building trust, effective conflict skills, team commitment and accountability and finally to achieve a results based future. Participants from Workshop One will have an added advantage of bringing their experiences to Workshop Two to further enhance their leadership skills. However, new participants will benefit from developing strategies to successfully build teams based on agreed action plans around trust building. There will be at least one personality measure of conflict management style to complete prior to this workshop (http://academic.engr.arizona.edu/vjohnson/ConflictManagementQuestionnaire/ConflictManagementQuestionnaire.asp) and this completed test needs to be brought to the workshop.
Participants will benefit from this workshop in two ways. First, they will be able to assess their own conflict management style in a broader team context. Second, they will develop strategies to better facilitate their team leadership capability through Lencioni’s structured but well accepted model.
