Letter to Member; COVID-19 Advisory Update as at 23 March 2020

Dear Member/friend

NSW is not in a state-wide lockdown despite suggestions yesterday. The Commonwealth Government though has imposed restrictions on:

• Pubs, registered clubs;
• Gyms, indoor sporting venues;
• Cinemas, entertainment venues, casinos and night clubs;
• Restaurants and cafes. They can provide takeaway or home delivery; and
• Religious gatherings, places of worship (this excludes small weddings and funerals that comply with the 1 person per 4m² rule).

As I mentioned previously, please support our local businesses during this very challenging period. While following health advice, buy takeaway food, from hamburgers to food that can be delivered from larger restaurants. We are collating a list of suppliers which will appear on our website. We will also be collating a guide for employers, in relation to COVID -19 and a working from home checklist.
