The Armidale Business Chamber has launched its ‘Buy Armidale’ campaign, to rally the Armidale community to support its businesses.
Consumers have a choice when buying goods and services online or in other towns and cities. When making a choice we want our community members to support each other and the Armidale economy.
We have every reason to be optimistic at seeing this drought through as a community, however its current impact on our local economy is significant. Our farmers and graziers, business and the community need support and we can all do our bit.
President of the Chamber, Anthony Fox said “We support the State Government’s campaigns ‘Buy Regional’ as well as the ever-growing ‘#BuyFromTheBush’. They are important efforts for all regional economies. The Chamber is building on these programs to focus its efforts on Armidale, directly supporting both its members and the wider business community.
Supporting local Armidale businesses means you are supporting their employees and their families. Our businesses crucially support many activities within our community.
Armidale is a fantastic place to live with its surrounding agricultural lands, huge educational opportunities, diversity of businesses and world accredited national parks. Keeping our local businesses healthy will help keep our community healthy.
Give our local businesses a boost this Christmas and keep your money in your home town where it can do the most good!
