Might you be interested to register as a supplier to White Rock Wind Farm (near Glen Innes)?
Businesses still have up until 20 December to register an Expression of Interest.
It needs to be mentioned that it is not only large construction / earthmoving / engineering companies etc that both the Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) and the Balance of Project (BOP) contractors are looking for in this project. They in fact mentioned such diverse areas of interest as accommodation providers, fencing contractors, low voltage electrical contractors, plumbers, joiners, security, cleaning, stationery supplies, car rental, fuel supplies, local delivery companies, local machinery supplies, electrical tools and equipment, local suppliers of steel, paper, nuts and bolts, bottled water etc: basically anything a business with 200+ employees in the region would need to run. The full range of 37 work packages for the project are described on the Gateway website.
The process in the first instance is for businesses to register on the ICN Gateway at gateway.icn.org.au and then register an EOI against the White Rock Wind Farm Project.
