The Armidale & District Chamber of Commerce Inc, as it is properly known, will shortly hold its Annual General Meeting.

At that meeting, the Chamber proposes to change its name to New England Business Chamber Inc. It is also proposed to use the shorter name “Business New England”. This reflects a more modern style of name, the importance of business and the development of the region as well as the past changes to the Armidale Local Government Area. In doing so we respect the existence of Guyra Business Chamber and Locals 4 Locals. The Chamber encourages all three groups to unite to provide a stronger, diverse entity. It has been, and, hopefully, will continue to work towards that end.

The Armidale Regional Council will hold a 20/21 Budget and Operational Plan webinar for Chamber members at 7.30am on Tuesday 7 July 2020.

Members of the Armidale and Guyra Chamber are invited to attend.

Stay safe and stay distant.

Kind Regards,

Anthony Fox
