Nominations are now open for candidates who wish to contest the NSW State election being held on Saturday, 23 March 2019.
Nominations can be lodged from 8am on Monday, 25 February 2019. Nominations close at 12 noon on Wednesday, 6 March 2019.

Access to the Nominations Online Management System and hard copy forms are available from elections.nsw.gov.au or by calling the candidate helpdesk on 1300 088 942.
Information about nominations is available in the Handbook for Parties, Groups, Candidates and Scrutineers available on our website. Late nominations cannot be accepted.
Ballot paper draw
At 10am on Thursday, 7 March 2019, the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council ballot paper draws will be held to determine the position of candidates on the ballot paper.
Legislative Assembly draws will take place at election managers’ offices for each district.
The draw to determine the position of candidates for the Legislative Council will take place at the Portside Centre Level 6 (entry level), 207 Kent Street Sydney.
The media, candidates and the public are invited to attend ballot paper draws.
Nominations are confidential until the conduct of the ballot paper draws, after which time candidate details will be published in ballot paper order at elections.nsw.gov.au
